normally i would agree but its not my laptop so can't really put stuff on it lol

Ahhh yeah, that explains it. IE is notoriously terrible for a lot of modern CSS (things like transparency) and since Microsoft have now abandoned it, I don't think they'll ever fix it. Glad it works ok for you on the XBox though! :D
