Not sure what you mean exactly. The background for posts hasn't changed since the theme went live, it is semi-transparent but it is there.

What version of IE are you using? That isn't related to any settings in account options, it's just a weird glitch with the browser not liking the transparency from the looks of it.

yeah i just got on my xbox one and it works fine, the laptop uses IE9 i think.

Ahhh yeah, that explains it. IE is notoriously terrible for a lot of modern CSS (things like transparency) and since Microsoft have now abandoned it, I don't think they'll ever fix it. Glad it works ok for you on the XBox though! :D
