Changes to Holo Federation Community Registration Agreement

The registration agreement for Holo Federation Community has been updated to better reflect the state of this community and to protect us as a whole from certain circumstances. You do not need to reply to this thread to agree to this change, continuing to use your account constitutes automatic agreement.

The biggest change is the introduction of an age restriction (sixteen - age of maturity in the United Kingdom) on membership here. This is to protect us legally from interaction with children on mature soil. Five years ago this wasn't as necessary because our average age was lower. At this point however most of us are adults and it would be inappropriate in many ways to continue to allow children through the flood gates.

For your reading convenience, the new agreement is contained within the spoiler tag below. If you do not agree with this change, you can simply log out of your account and not come back. We will not be deleting accounts of members whom no longer wish to adhere to this agreement.

As above, continuing to use your forum account constitutes automatic agreement to this change in terms of service. If you do not agree, you must cease using your account. If you are under the age requirement, you must inform us and we will ban your account until such a date that you meet the requirement.

don't we have members that are under 16? I'm asuming because they have been members with us for so long before this new rule it doesn't apply to them?

There's no need to play devil's advocate. It's already been decided. But there are no active members under 16 as far as I know.
