Title: Forum Downtime
Post by: Ross on May 30, 2011, 07:28:32 AM: Thought I'd best let everyone know that I'm hoping to get the go ahead to update the forums to RC5 in the next day or two, so if you come by and can't get onto the forums don't panic! Hopefully they should only be down for a few hours, I've been rigorously testing the updates on a testing domain so I think I've got it all down to a fine art now. :)

The updates wont have anything spectacularly new like last time, the theme will be slightly different but most of the changes are in the coding so it'll hopefully be more efficient and it'll solve a few of the bugs we've currently got (such as the forum profile page being all out of shape).

LoL I saw your username sitting there trying to get on for about 40 minutes whilst I was working away! Thanks, glad you like it. :)

Edit: Sorry if you just got caught in a DB error, bloody thing locked up as it was in the middle of optimising things.

It's the V3 of DarkRain with some modifications by me. Before we used V2 of DarkRain. The navigation bar at the top for example is completely customised now.

Quick reply box is very handy! Did you not have it before?

Post by: Ross on May 31, 2011, 02:05:12 PM: Oh btw, just as a general note the profile fields for XBox, PSN and Steam have changed, so if you had the old ones filled out you may need to manually update your profile for the new fields. Clicking on somebody's XBox, PSN or Steam button in their post will display their gaming card in a pop up window.

Yeah I did but when I click on the quote link it used to go to the normal posting page,
